Rhus aromatica or trilobata

This plant is called Cheeth Chin in Navajo not exactly spelled that way but that's how it sounds.  It's one of my favorite berries.  I haven't tried the leaves but just absolutely crave the sour little berries.  Mmmmm Mmmmm Mmmmm.

I don't know if you can eat it yet.

I'm pretty sure that this is the right name for this plant.  Haven't tried eatting it yet cause I don't wanna die.

Spurge

Ok so I went on a walk Today in Rock Canyon.  I tasted the tiniest bit of the sap from this plant and my mouth is still hot.  I looked it up and it is SPURGE.  I'm not gonna die but I'm also not going to eat it again.  Anyhow just so I know.
